Job Responsibilities- Provide surgical care primarily in emergency and inpatient settings.- Perform essential procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and colonoscopy.- Manage trauma cases and other surgical duties as required.
Qualifications- Board certification or eligibility in surgery is required.- BLS certification is necessary.- Experience in a trauma level 2 environment preferred.
Working Hours- Weekend call coverage
Skills- Proficient in general and laparoscopic surgery for both adult and pediatric patients.- Skilled in emergency procedures such as chest tube and central line insertion.- Preferred skills in laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication, liver surgery, and minor orthopedics.
