The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced Embedded Software Engineerto support ourPrecision Engagement Systems located in Saint Charles, MO.The Precision Engagement Systems organization is a strong and growing business that produces a variety of precision-guided weapons, which are employed around the world to support the defense of the United States and more than 30 U.S. allied countries.

We are seeking talented experienced software engineers to work with a multi-discipline engineering team to design and develop software solutions for these platforms. Engineers on this team work in all phases of the software development lifecycle.We are actively building the team to achieve a growing work scope that includes implementing real-time embedded software applications, creating models and simulations, deploying DevOps methodologies and development environments, developing support applications, and maintaining software configurations and processes for an Agile development lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions

• Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile development environment

• Develop solutions using Ada, C#, and Python

• Test your software and assist system level testing to verify correct software functionality

• Analyze problem reports and troubleshooting software defects

• Develop leadership skills and experience

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in real-time embedded software development

• 3+ years of experience in developing software using Object Oriented principles

• 3+ years of experience working in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent experiencestrongly preferred

• Active U.S. secret clearance

• Experience with Ada, Python, or C#

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment

• Experience with Git or a similar version control system

• Experience developing and tracing software requirements

Summary pay range for Experienced Level (Level 3): $119,000 - $161,000
