Inhospital Physicians is seeking experienced APPs, both NPs or PAs, to join our team at our facility in Alexandria, LA. This is a full-time, nights position or open to a mix of days/nights, Hospitalist APP position in a 346-bed hospital. We also have a full time night shift available as well if interested in a Nocturnist role.
Responsibilities
- 12 hour shifts, 7p-7a, Night Coverage
- Night shift, rounding, and admissions
- 7 on 7 off
- Flexible scheduling or blocks are available as well
- Support from Physicians and other APPs on staff
- Hourly rate starting at $80/ hr and increases with experience
Skills/Requirements
- Must meet Louisiana requirements
- BC, must be experienced
- Must be able to see all ages including young adolescents
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR preferred
Physical Demands:
This physician/APP role requires stamina in fast-paced healthcare: prolonged standing/walking (8-12 hrs/shift); rapid emergency movement (sprints, crowds); lifting/carrying 25-50 lbs equipment; pushing/pulling 100 lbs (beds/carts) with aid; frequent bending/stooping/kneeling for care; constant reaching/fine motor skills (suturing/IVs); occasional climbing/balancing; tolerating stressors (temps, noise, fluids, hazards) during irregular shifts/on-call/infection risks accommodations for disabilities; varies by setting (clinic/ER).
