Our job summary

Certified Sterile Processing Technician position (full-time, day shift) responsible for receiving, decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing, inspecting, and restocking surgical instruments, case carts, and patient equipment in a fast-paced hospital sterile processing department. Requires graduation from an approved Sterile Processing program, certification (IAHCSMM or CBSPD), and preferably two years of instrumentation experience; duties include operating sterilization equipment and inventory systems and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care. Role is based at a 54-bed acute care hospital with surgical, endoscopy, cath lab and expanded ED services, emphasizing teamwork, professional growth, and patient experience improvements.

Your Job:

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Certified Sterile Processing Tech receive, fill and deliver supply orders, processes and sterilizes instrument trays. Cleans and inspects patient equipment, gathers instruments and supplies for surgical case carts. Operates equipment as well as some computer systems, inventories and restocks departmental supplies and special carts.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Sterile Processing Technician program
• Certification by IAHCSMM or CBSPD
• 2 years direct instrumentation experience is preferred.
