Federally qualified community health center in Miami is hiring a salaried pediatrician for a 45–60 hour/week clinical role (typically ~8-hour days) seeing ~22 patients/day across ~225 days/year. Position includes strong clinical support (scribe, MAs, immunization nurse, PCMH coordinator), no weekends or nights, shared rounds, occasional on-call rotation, and FTCA malpractice coverage. Compensation base ~$160K with realistic total pay up to $200K+, plus benefits (life, LTD, 401k match, leave, CME stipend).

This is a 70 million budgeted, federally qualified health center that is very established
Will be a salaried position with great benefits (see below)!
Contract is 45-60 hours per week (but docs have been working an average of 8 hours per day)
You will be extremely well staffed and supported;
Will have at least one scribe, and at least one MA, plus patient centered medical home coordinator, immunization nurse and referrals clerk, medication prior authorization person plus the usual staff in a busy practice!
You just need to see patients

You are on call 1 time for every x number of pediatricians. So if we have 5, every fifth time you have call. Having calls means doing newborn rounds and answering the phone.
Providers do not admit patients to hospital.
NO weekends
NO nights
Expectation is about 22 patients per day- 225 days per year-
Base will be 160k but if go above this # of patients very realistic can earn 200K plus!

Providers are eligible to enroll in a life insurance plan and accidental death and dismemberment plans free of charge
to them. The benefits equal the providers' annual salary ($100,000 max). In addition, providers have the option to
purchase additional life insurance for themselves, their spouse, and/or their child(ren).
• Long Term Disability
Providers are eligible for Long Term Disability free of charge to them. Benefits equal 60% of the employee's monthly salary, ($5,000 monthly max) starting on the gpt day of employment.
• Voluntary Benefits - Mutual of America
Mutual of America pays cash directly to the policyholder. The cash can be used to pay for living expenses.
• JOHN HANCOCK - 401K
Providers are eligible to participate in the first half year after a year of employment. MBCHC will match
the provider's contribution up to 4% of his/her annual salary.
• Leave & CME
For the first 5 years of employment, providers accrue 2 personal days, 6 sick days, and 15 vacation days. MBCHC
observes 8 federal holidays. MBCHC provides up to 5 paid administrative days per year and up to $2,500 per year
to attend CME activities.
• Malpractice Coverage
Providers have Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) protection. FTCA permits private parties to sue the United States
in federal court acting. The provider is not sued.
