This position is for a Locum Internal Medicine Physician specializing in general medicine to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans. The role involves evaluating patients through interviews and limited physical assessments without prescribing treatment, offering flexible work options including at-home or facility-based shifts. Required qualifications include medical licensure, AANP certification, and proficiency in METs testing with a focus on respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.

As a specialist in this role, you will be contributing to the well-being of Veterans by providing essential evaluations, with a focus on ensuring their health needs are met. Whether operating from your own practice or a local facility, you will play a critical part in supporting those who have served our country.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform evaluations primarily based on interviews with patients, including some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Document findings and complete reports, including any necessary addendums.
- Work on a PRN basis, with options for half-day and full-day shifts.
- No prescribing or treatment will be involved in this role.
- Engage in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions (REQUIRED).
- Own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products) (REQUIRED).
- AANP certification (REQUIRED).
- Active and unrestricted full medical license (REQUIRED).
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified (REQUIRED).
- Must reside within 50 miles of the specified city (REQUIRED).
- New Hampshire Medical License (NH) - Current and unrestricted.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Medicine is preferred.
