The RN Supervisor in the Patient Access Center coordinates patient admissions, transfers, and bed placements remotely to ensure efficient healthcare delivery. The position supports Mercy's health system by facilitating patient throughput and enhancing the patient and provider experience.

This high-performance position requires professionals who excel in communication, coordination, and clinical judgment to seamlessly facilitate patient admissions and transfers. Through proactive engagement and collaborative problem-solving, the Throughput RN is entrusted with the responsibility of guiding patients and referring providers through the complex transfer process. Non-Patient Contact Role | Must Reside Within 1 hour of a Mercy Hospital
Shifts:
Evenings - 4-10hour shifts or 5- 8hour shifts
+ On-Call (Weekdays minimal & weekends 2 shifts within 6weeks)

Patient Placement & Bed Planning
Staffing & Nursing Logistics
Coordination of Patient Transfers into Mercy Hospitals (East Region)
Our HUB nurses work remotely via phone and computer to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
RN License – Current RN license in the state of Missouri required.
Experience – Minimum of 3 years RN experience including minimum of 1 year Telemetry or higher
Preferred: 3 years RN experience including a minimum of 1 year Critical Care or Emergency Room experienceCertifications – BLS required
