Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Adult ICU night shift position requiring a valid ID or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an adult Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Care for critically ill adult patients
- Assignment is for a contract length of 12 weeks
- Responsible for providing direct care to critically ill adult patients
- Electronic timekeeping is required for attendance tracking
- Cannot accept candidates currently listed as permanent employees
- All documentation must be current and licenses active at time of consideration
Requirements
- Active ID or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; RQI and RCIS certifications are not accepted
- Must not have certification expiring within 30 days of assignment start date
- No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
- Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
- Must not be currently employed in a permanent nursing position
- Radius rule applies: candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
