Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for a brand-new Freestanding Emergency Department launching in Bowling Green, Kentucky in April 2026.

This is a rare opportunity to join a newly opened facility from day one, help shape clinical workflows, and practice in a modern, well-supported emergency care environment backed by a strong regional health system.

Schedule & Coverage Model

• Shift Types Available:
  • Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Night Shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • 24-hour physician coverage

  • 5 Urgent Care beds

Clinical Resources & Support

• Radiology:
  • In-house reads: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
  • VRAD overnight coverage
• CT: 24/7/365
• Ultrasound: 24/7 on-call service
• Bedside Ultrasound: Butterfly
• Admissions:
  • 95% via hospitalist service
  • 5% via community bridge orders

Candidate Requirements

• Licensure: Active & unrestricted Kentucky medical license (required)
• Board Status:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • EM, FM, or IM residency-trained physicians accepted
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • ATLS
    (If not EM boarded, ACLS/PALS/ATLS required for moderate sedation)
• Supervision: Comfortable supervising APPs

Credentialing

• Credentialing Timeline: 60–90 days
• Temporary / Expedited Privileges: Available (per bylaws)
• Residency Requirement: ACGME/AOA approved residency or fellowship required
• New Graduates: Accepted if board eligible
