The hospital is a Level 2 trauma center that provides advanced diagnostic and treatment services with a particular focus on pathology services to support various specialties.
Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Pathology - Anatomic and Clinical
Job Details:
• Board certification in Pathology required
• Regular hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with on-call responsibilities after hours, weekends, and holidays
• Seeking pathologists who specialize in Gynecologic/surgical pathology
• Skills preferred in multiple pathology specialties including Surgical Pathology (GI, GU, Neuro, Dermato, Hemato)
• Experience with bone marrow aspirations/biopsies and interpretations preferred
• Cytology skills (GYN and Non-GYN) including performance of FNAs preferred
• Autopsy experience (forensic and non-forensic) preferred
• Competence in grossing or cutting frozen sections preferred
• Skills in Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, and Blood bank preferred
• Pediatric tumor pathology experience preferred
• Must be licensed in Texas only
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 20 days
• Fellowship training required

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
