This is a full-time hospital-employed General Surgeon position located near Dallas, focusing on general surgery, bariatrics, and heavy scopes within a level IV trauma center. - 2 medical/surgical beds
- 6-bed ICU
- 12-bed women s center
- 15-bed outpatient surgery center
- expanded ED w/ 5 fast-track, 3 trauma, 3 specialty rooms
- Other services include: cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiac and vascular diagnostics, therapy services (physical, speech and occupational therapy), diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, MRA, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, digital mammography and bone density), and laboratory services
- 20,000 square foot MOB w/ independent dialysis center
- 2nd MOB (10,000 square foot) with several medical specialists in 3 suites
DETAILS:

Bariatric cases proficiency a plus

- SCHEDULE: full time

- Level IV Trauma Center
- CALL: 1:2 (1 to 2 calls per month requiring onsite response)
Minimum of 10 call days per month included in base pay
Call above 10 days is compensated
Must live within 30 minutes of hospital for call
Potential for mortgage downpayment assistance if permanent residence is within 15 miles of the hospital.
COMPENSATION:
COMP MODEL: Salary + wRVU
- Salary = $350,000-$405,000
- wRVU: not payor type sensitive
- Call Pay: $ > 10-days/month (negotiated with candidate)
- APP Supervision (if needed) = $500/month/APP
