Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient position with Sunday and weekday shifts and an active MI license required.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient setting with a focus on patient assessment, treatment planning, and education
- Work schedule includes Sundays 8am-12pm and Monday through Thursday 8am-5:30pm
- No on-call required
- Delegates tasks to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides
- Main responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing goal-specific treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers
- Written treatment plans must be coordinated with physicians and updated as needed
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered
- Requested time off cannot exceed five days and must be submitted prior to offer
- Local travelers can only complete one travel assignment at this location
Requirements
- Completed PT program and current, active Michigan Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- PT experience required
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Two supervisory references from the last two years required
- Recent skills checklist pertinent to physical therapy required
- Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
