Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with oncology experience to provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards and practices. You will assist providers in patient care and education, while actively engaging as a member of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients.
- Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as per established standards.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and care procedures.
- React calmly and effectively during emergency situations.
- Minimum of 1 year oncology nursing experience.
- Completion of a bio/chemo or fundamentals course from ONS, or ability to complete within 2 weeks of hire.
- Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
- Must meet American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renew BLS every two years.
