RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel assignment
• Work on 6 MedTele unit with 33 rooms accommodating up to 49 patients
• Patient ratios: 5:1 during night shift
• Required certifications: BLS, Med/Surg background
• Preferred experience: Spinal cord injury (SCI) patients
• Use telemetry monitoring equipment
• Work with EMR - Meditech system
• Perform typical procedures including wound care, occasional bowel programs, and light burn care
• Care for specialty surgical flap patients and spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention
• Partner with burn unit to care for low-acuity burn patients
• Work in semi-private rooms when hospital census requires
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1.5 techs, and 5-6 RNs
• Best fit for RNs who enjoy working on a busy medical floor
