Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Required Skills:
- Board-certified or eligible in Cardiology or Internal Medicine with subspecialty training in Cardiology
- Proven clinical experience in inpatient cardiology care
- Strong knowledge of cardiac diagnostics, treatments, and emergency protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple clinical responsibilities
- Flexibility to work 7a-7p shifts with night call coverage
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with inpatient rounding and acute cardiac care
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, BLS, or ATLS
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Prior experience in a locum tenens setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license in the practicing state
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiology or internal medicine with cardiology focus
- Previous inpatient and rounding experience desirable
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work at least two full weeks per month
- Flexibility for overtime after 12 hours/day shifts
- Ability to adapt to shift schedules, including overnight coverage when needed
