Travel contract (typical 8–13 weeks) providing pre-/post-op and acute neuro care for patients with stroke, TBI, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, epilepsy, MS. - Active RN license (NY or multistate compact if applicable) - Neuro/acute care experience (typically 1–2+ years) - BLS/ACLS required; Neuro specialty certifications preferred (SCRN, CNOR, CNRN) - Ability to manage complex neuro assessments and post-op care

Responsibilities

Neuro Nurses (RN) treat patients with neurological injuries and disorders, including head and spinal trauma from accidents, or illnesses such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis. Neuro RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform typical procedures to help patients recover behavioral, physical, and cognitive abilities
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
• Exhibit a high level of patience and sensitivity, as patients mentally function on different levels
