Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide emergency medicine care for patients in a fast-paced emergency department
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Perform procedures and interventions as appropriate to the emergency setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Adhere to all departmental and facility protocols

Additional Information

• Active Virginia license required
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Shift preference includes days, nights, and weekends; candidates must be available for all shift types
