Opportunity:
Interventional Radiology Technologist Neuro EndoVascular
Job Details:
• Work full-time hours with emergency call coverage as scheduled
• Call rotation every other week
• Experience in Neuro Endovascular or Neuro Interventional Radiology is mandatory
• Must have experience in vascular radiology scrubbing and imaging
• Required certifications: BLS-AHA, ARRT, SCRQSA
• Select and utilize appropriate technical factors for procedures in the Neurointerventional (NIR Bi-Plane) based on body habits, pathology, and body parts
• Process completed images ensuring interpretable quality
• Work under supervision of surgeon to facilitate safe and effective conduct of invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping to establish sterile field
• Ensure availability and preparedness of procedure rooms
• Participate in surgical site and patient verification during time out procedures
• Assist with cleaning rooms and room turnover
• Perform LVO stroke cases and cerebral aneurysm repairs with Endovascular trained Neurologist
• Maintain professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations
• Continue professional development through continuing education programs and in-services

This healthcare organization is establishing a new Neuro Endovascular department, a procedural specialty focused on advanced neurological interventions including stroke cases and cerebral aneurysm repairs. The facility is seeking experienced staff to help launch this specialized department and works with Endovascular trained Neurologists to provide cutting-edge neurological care.
