This PRN Family Practice Physician role involves performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans across several Nevada locations. The position requires no treatment or prescribing, focusing on interview-based exams with some physical assessments and administrative follow-up. Candidates must have an active unrestricted license, proficiency in relevant medical testing, and be willing to complete mandatory DMA training.

Opportunity:
General Medicine Provider
Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans• Current openings in: Pahrump (1/2 day per week, 20-mile radius preferred), Gardnerville/Minden (1 day per week, 30-mile radius preferred), and Ely (1/2 day per week, 50-mile radius required)• Provider must have their own office location• PRN basis, ongoing opportunity• Option to work half-days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours)• One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments• Primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessment (range of motion testing, muscle strength testing)• No prescribing, no treatment required• Quick credentialing and onboarding process• Eligible specialties include: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension• Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products allowed)• Must have active and unrestricted full license• AANP required• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified• One-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams• Local candidates only, travel included in rates• Follow-up administrative work required regularly (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics)

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
