Night shift: 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30.
Job Description
The Labor & Delivery RN will be responsible for providing care to obstetrical patients during labor and delivery. The nurse will assist with high-risk deliveries and participate in a collaborative environment to ensure optimal outcomes for both mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities
- Assist with high-risk and vaginal deliveries.
- Circulate for C-sections.
- Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) and manage medications such as insulin and magnesium sulfate therapy.
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetrical patients.
- Utilize intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC) for monitoring.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
- Certifications required: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP.
- Preferred experience with Epic charting system.
