Hospital located in southern West Virginia, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join one GI physician in an established hospital-employed practice. The qualified candidate will have the ability to perform ERCP, EGD, bronchoscopies, esophageal manometry, and capsule endoscopies. EUS skills preferred but not required. The practice is conveniently located one-mile from hospital campus and offers flexible office hours, Monday Friday. With the practice continuing to grow by 1,500 new patients per year for the past seven years, the incoming physician can expect to ramp-up quickly. The current physician averages 70 cases per month (80% outpatient / 20% inpatient). Hospital is a 300-bed hospital and one of the busiest level III trauma centers in the country averaging 50,000 ED visits per year.
Office is approximately a quarter mile from the hospital. Current physician in the practice is averaging 50 patients and 50 endoscopic procedures per week. There are 6 endoscopy suites 4 in the hospital and 2 in the MOB across from the hospital. Clinic is M-F, . Call: hospital 1:6/ clinic 1:2 (with the new provider).
