Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment starting ASAP with Tuesday orientation
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 42-bed emergency department with varied daily census
• Must have 2 years of emergency department experience and travel experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Cerner charting system experience required with no exceptions
• Must pass EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher score, tested on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (all must be current, no pending)
• CPI certification will be required starting January 2026
• EKG pass/CEU requirement must be met
• Missouri RN license or compact state license required
• May float to all competent units within facility
• Complete 4 hours of non-billable HealthStream modules pre-start
• Must maintain timely completion of all assigned modules throughout assignment
• No block scheduling available
• Trauma Level II experience required, Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
