Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive emergency and urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients. Conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and order necessary diagnostics. Perform essential procedures as needed within your scope of practice. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including nurses and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care. Admit patients for further evaluation or treatment when necessary. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Epic EMR system. Qualifications for Success: Board certification in either Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) with experience in urgent care. Valid Missouri medical license to practice medicine without restrictions. Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS to demonstrate your commitment to patient safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
