Travel RN – Intermediate Care / Stepdown
Start: 1/26 | Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Nights | Every other weekend & holidays
Travel only: Must live 50+ miles from facility
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS & ACLS
- Dysrhythmia exam (study guide provided)
- 2 years recent IMC/Stepdown, MS/Tele, or similar experience
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation (cardiac drips preferred)
- Travel experience preferred
Unit Details
- 29 beds (up to 37)
- Ratios: 1:3–5
- Will float to other MS/Tele units
- Support staff: PCTs & HUC
- Charting: EPIC
- Other systems: PerfectServe, Dimensions
Patient Population
CHF, CKD, DM, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, GI bleeds, UTIs, respiratory failure
Equipment
Telemetry, IV pumps, PCA, wound vacs, warming blankets
