The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure reliable production and compliance with cGMP standards. The role requires troubleshooting mechanical issues, supporting equipment changeovers, maintaining parts inventory, and documenting maintenance activities. This role supports the safe, reliable operation of oral solid dosage manufacturing and packaging equipment within a regulated production environment. Positions may be structured across multiple levels based on experience, technical capability, and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on oral dosage manufacturing and packaging equipment in accordance with SOPs, cGMP requirements, and safety standards.
- Support equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments for different production runs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related equipment issues, working directly with engineers, vendors, and production teams as needed.
- Maintain spare parts and replacement inventory to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and GMP-required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with equipment installation, retrofits, and qualification or validation-related activities.
- Provide hands-on maintenance support for both manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Support additional maintenance tasks and projects as directed by maintenance leadership.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; electrical or controls familiarity is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced production setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior maintenance experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments is highly valued.
