The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide care in a 24/7 emergency department at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas, serving a diverse metropolitan and rural population. The facility is equipped with advanced medical technology including CT scanners, negative pressure rooms, and decontamination equipment to handle infectious diseases and chemical exposures. The position involves physician coverage for 12 hours daily in a Level IV Trauma Center accredited by the Joint Commission, supporting an emergency department with 12 beds and a patient volume of approximately 10,000 annually.

The 11,000 square-foot facility houses advanced technology, including a CT scanner. The 24/7 emergency department is an extension of services for Northwest Health, operating as a department of Northwest Medical Center - Bentonville.
The facility also has two negative pressure rooms, designed to isolate a patient who is suspected of having - or has been diagnosed with - an airborne infectious disease. The design is intended to prevent the spread of a disease from an infected patient to others. Additionally, decontamination equipment is available for patients who have been injured by or exposed to chemicals. This assists our team in providing safe and appropriate care while protecting staff, patients or guests.
