Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
- Stabilize and manage patients in urgent and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure effective patient care delivery
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures as appropriate for emergency medicine
- Document all patient encounters and treatments accurately
Additional Information
- Texas medical license required
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred; FM/IM physicians with emergency department experience accepted
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
