Large private medical-surgical multi-specialty practice is looking to add an additional BE/BC OBGYN to join its team. This is a partnership practice opportunity in a very desirable location and in a medical environment which allows you to combine the intellectual stimulation of academic medicine with the independence and financial rewards of private practice.
The office is located just down the street from Vidant Medical Center, a 970+ bed tertiary, academic medical center and home of East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine. Deliveries are at one hospital and operate there and in an outpatient surgical center as well as perform multiple in-office procedures including hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, ultrasound with 3 sonographers, and urodynamic testing. While the primary emphasis is caring for patients, all Physicians are on the faculty of the local medical school and teach and operate with OB/Gyn residents and medical students. We have Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gyn Oncology and REI consultants readily available and one of the partners is board certified in Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery.
In addition to 6 full-time physicians, we have 4 Certified Nurse Midwives and one Physician Assistant. Call is 1:6 weekdays/weekends.

This position is open to new and experienced physicians who are board certified or board eligible.
