Seeking full-time Radiology Physicians in California to provide diagnostic imaging services including CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. Candidates must hold board certification in Diagnostic Radiology with specialized fellowship training, possess an active California medical license and radiation permits, and be willing to work scheduled onsite and remote shifts including weekends. The role involves using PACS and voice recognition software for image interpretation, supporting high patient volume across multiple modalities, with an emphasis on neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, and stroke imaging protocols.

- Support staff: Locum working alongside a team
- Coverage Type: Scheduled hours
- Schedule Details: If working weekdays, candidate must be willing to work equal share of Fridays (we will not consider candidates who only work Mon-Thurs). On-site daytime shifts (8am-5pm)
- Minimum 5 shifts per month
- Estimated 7 wRVU/hour
- Candidate must reside in LA or Orange Counties to reduce travel/lodging costs
- Prefer candidates that can cover weekends as part of this; we are willing to reduce the minimum # shifts per month if candidate covers weekends
- Remote evening shifts ending at 1am, between 4pm-9pm start, examples: 4pm-1am, 7pm-1am, 8pm-1am, 9pm-1am
- Minimum 5 shifts per month
- Estimated 10 wRVU/hour
- Prefer that candidate resides in Hawaii or PST time zones, preferably LA or Orange Counties
- Prefer candidates that can cover weekends as part of this; we are willing to reduce the minimum # shifts per month if candidate covers weekends
- Remote weekend/holiday shifts, (10am-midnight or any subset within), examples: 10am-7pm, 5pm-12am, 7pm-12am
- Minimum 3 shifts per month
- Estimated 8 wRVU/hour
- Vaccines Mandatory? Yes- PPD, Varicella, MMR
- Avg. Daily Census: 60-90 wRVU's
- Modalities: CT, MRI, X-ray, US, NM or some subset thereof. % Breakdown by Modality: negotiable
- Procedures: GI Fluoro studies / lumbar puncture (if on-site) / none (if tele)
- Reason for Need: Too much volume for number of FTE's
- PACs (Picture Archiving and Communication System): Change
- Voice recognition system (Dictation software for reads): Nuance Powerscribe
- Requirements:
- Board Certifications Req'd/Preferred: Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology required. Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, Chest, Body/Abdomen, or Interventional Radiology. Must be experienced in brain and spine MRI, stroke protocol CT/CTA/CTP.
- State License(s): Active CA license, active CA RHL
- Certifications: Providers must have CA x-ray operator and supervisor permit.
- Minimum 1 year experience - No gaps in employment greater than 0.5 year
- Credentialing Timeframe: one month
