RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel assignment for 3 positions available
• Patient ratio of 4:1 (currently running some 5:1 due to staffing)
• Work on 38-bed unit with neurology and medical-surgical patients
• Required certifications: NIH certification, BLS, heavy medical-surgical background
• Preferred qualifications: ACLS certification and neurology experience
• Typical procedures include NIH/stroke assessments, neurological assessments, fall risk assessments, trach care, and feeding tube management
• Equipment includes IV pumps, seizure monitoring, Bi-pap, C-pap (mostly at night), and glucometers
• Electronic medical record system: Meditech
• Must be highly motivated team player with excellent critical thinking skills
• Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and work well under pressure required
• Must be passionate about neurology patient population and engaged with patient experience
