Travel RN Job Details

• Unit: Resource Pool – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

• End Date: March 7, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 10 Hour Days (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1810 - $1950
• Employment Type: W2 Travel Nursing Contract

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to float within the Resource Pool as needed
• Successful completion of onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, health screenings, competency testing)

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry environment
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health management
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare policies
