People First in Rockwall Local Team Collaboration:
- We are seeking a swing hospitalist to join our well-established team of 10 physicians, three day-rounders, a swing rounder, a day APP, and a nocturnist at Texas Health Rockwall.
- Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds.
- As a smaller community hospital, we work closely with our hospital partners to make meaningful changes. We work closely with our colleagues in all departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine only.
- Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Practicing candidates only.
Practice in the Heart of the Community Flexible Scheduling:
- This position is for a swing Hospitalist: 7 on/off, 11 am-11 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care and post-operative care.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons in the preoperative clinic to optimize patients.
- Average of 10-12 admissions.
- Provide support to the rapid response and code team.
- No procedures are required.
