Travel assignment with competitive pay and 3x12 night shift in Dothan, AL. CVICU Travel RN role in Dothan, Alabama; nights 3x12; travel contract (typical 13 weeks). Provide critical care for post-op and medically complex cardiac patients in a Cardiovascular ICU; coordinate with MDs and families. - Current RN license (AL or compact) - CVICU or ICU experience (preferred 1+ year) - ACLS certification - Ability to manage vasoactive drips and mechanical circulatory support - BLS certification

Responsibilities

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurses (RNs) work closely with doctors and heart specialists to control patients’ blood pressure and to prevent heart failure. The CVICU RN provides education and support to families and patients while acting as a liaison between the doctors and the patients. CVICU RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assess a patient’s condition and implement care plan while observing and recording patients’ vital signs
• Administer medication and operate cardiovascular equipment like oxygenation machines and balloon pumps
• Respond to life-threatening situations
