Hospitalists needed in the Central Valley CA area

Join a Hospital employed Hospitalist group offering block schedules. They have a team of 12 daytime hospitalists rounding in a 400+ bed Level II trauma center. They have an open ICU with both Hospitalists and Pulmonary Critical Care physicians staffing the ICU. The Hospitalists work 12 hour shifts, 7am-7pm and work 16 shifts per month. They average 16-18 patients per physician.

The Hospitalists are given a 20k signing bonus and receive over $1,500.00 per shift, plus an additional 15k in bonuses and the Hospital contributes 7% of annual income toward the Physicians Pension plan. They also offer a complete benefits package and relocation assistance.

The practice is located less than one hour to Sacramento and 1.5 hours east of San Francisco. The community offers reasonable housing, good schools and driving access to the city, ocean and mountains. This opportunity does not offer Visa sponsorship.
