Number of Beds - 36 beds (34 private, 2 semi private)
Number of Staff – 55
Type of staff:
Day Shift – 1 charge, 6 RNs, 3 Techs, 1 DA
Night Shift - 1 charge, 6 RNs, 3 Techs
Patient Ratios – 5-6:1
Type of equipment – telemetry (bedside monitors), vein finder, bladder scanner, EKG machine, Doppler, Hoyer Lift, glucometer, pulse ox, scales
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· NIH Stroke certification
· ACLS
EMR - Meditech
Must have:
Med Surg experience

Preferred or nice to have:
Trauma experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Chest tube placement
