- Provide high-quality emergency care in a supportive, rural hospital environment serving Northern Minnesota communities.
- Enjoy flexible scheduling options, including 12- and 24-hour shifts, with the potential for extended 36-hour shifts after site approval.
- Collaborate with a dedicated clinical team and APPs providing weekend convenience care coverage.
Assignment Details- Coverage Type: 12- or 24-hour shifts (36-hour shifts available upon approval)
- Setting: Inpatient & Urgent Care (combined volume)
- Start: ASAP
- Annual Volume: 9,500 (includes Urgent Care)
- Second Coverage: APP provides Convenience Care 12p-8p Sat/Sun; may extend to other days
- EMR: Epic
Clinical Details- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for a wide range of patient presentations.
- Collaborate with APPs for weekend coverage and ensure consistent patient flow through both ED and urgent care settings.
- Participate in ongoing stroke and trauma readiness initiatives within a Level III environment.
Requirements- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or ABPS (with ER or Peds experience)
- Active Minnesota medical license
- ACLS, BLS, ATLS or CALS with trauma module, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 hours of stroke education (certificate of continuing education required)
- COVID-19 vaccination required
