The Interior Coordinator role involves inside sales and operational support for building materials such as drywall, insulation, and related products. Responsibilities include managing inventory, processing sales orders, customer relationship building, and supporting operations including fleet and IT functions. The position requires product knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth.
Position Summary
The primary function of an Inside Sales and Operations Support is to provide product knowledge on building materials including drywall, insulation, metal studs, ceiling systems, stucco and EIFS, tools, safety equipment, and accessories for the drywall industry. Also, this position will provide support in the functions of operations, fleet management, and IT support.
Duties & Responsibilities
Purchase and maintain adequate levels of inventory
Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone
Build relationships with customers
Ability to use company computer system as needed
Complete sales orders and tender cash sales
Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases
Cold-call prospects generated by external lead sources
Work with Outside Sales Representatives and Sales Managers to develop plans to support sales efforts
Overcome objections of prospective customers
Emphasize product and service features
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Four-year degree or some college preferred

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $25.19 to $32.07 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, or commissions.Job Location:
