Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Ability to float to Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed
• Familiarity with Meditech 5.6 EMR preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and friendly personality

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department and ED holds
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, including telemetry monitoring
• Administer medications and non-titrating cardiac drips as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Utilize Meditech 5.6 EMR system for accurate clinical documentation
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant hospital environment
• Float to Med Surg and Telemetry units as required
• Demonstrate adaptability and a team-oriented approach
