The Flight Instrumentation Test Tech installs, maintains, and troubleshoots flight test instrumentation systems on aircraft, including sensors and wiring harnesses. This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to support flight test operations and ensure high standards of safety and quality. Candidates with experience in avionics, electrical systems, or aircraft maintenance are preferred, though training is available for motivated technicians.
TRCTalent seeks a Flight Test Instrumentation Tech for a rapidly growing air taxi manufacturer in San Jose. These techs will be supporting a growing team supporting flight test operations. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on aircraft experience—especially those skilled in installing test sensors, strain gages, and wiring harnesses for flight test instrumentation systems.
While prior FTI experience is preferred, it’s not required. We’re willing to train highly motivated technicians who bring a strong foundation in aircraft systems, wiring, or circuit board work and a commitment to precision and safety.
