RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Adult

Job Details:

• Work 13-week contract assignment with day or night shift availability (to be determined)
• Scheduled 36 hours per week following first full week of orientation
• Must be flexible with various shift lengths and different days
• No guarantee of hours or shift preference
• Provide med/surg level care for patients 18 years and older
• May float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units
• Maintain 1:5 nurse to patient ratio on medical unit
• Work with equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
• Must have 2+ years of med surg or higher level care experience
• Hawaii state nursing license required by start of assignment
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Professional nursing attire required with closed toe shoes
• Department specific training and orientation program included in first week
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
