Opportunity to practice integrated adult and child psychiatry with forensic work and flexible H-1 support. BC Psychiatrist, permanent, Western New York (Cattaraugus County). Hospital-based ~50% with travel to local facilities ~50%. Mixed inpatient, consult-liaison, outpatient, child psychiatry, day treatment, substance abuse, forensic evaluations. Mandatory on-call one week every fourth week. - M.D. with NY license
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Completed general psychiatry residency
- Fellowship or additional training (preferred) and neuropsych testing knowledge
- Eligible for H visa (acceptable)
Full description
Seeking a BC Psychiatrist. Position involves:
-Adult inpatient and consultation-liaison psychiatry and supervision of ER evaluations
-General adult outpatient clinical services
-Child psychiatry
-Adult day treatment and substance abuse treatment.
-Will also provide court ordered forensic evaluations.
-Call is mandatory, one week every fourth week.
-Based in hospital approximately 50% of the time.
-Travel to other facilities within Cattaraugus County, NY, approximately 50% of time
REQUIREMENTS
-M.D and license to practice psychiatry in New York.
-Board Certification.
-Additional training such as an accredited fellowship and knowledge of Neuropsychological testing.
-Candidate would need to have completed at least a general psychiatry residency program.
