Job Details:
• 3 years of operating room experience required
• 2 years of Level I Trauma experience required
• Monday through Friday shifts with call and/or holiday coverage
• Weekend only positions available
• 6 call shifts required in a 6-week period (can vary)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Circulating required, scrubbing preferred
• Must be well-rounded and current in most OR areas except CV & Transplant
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle Core 6 procedures including general surgery, plastic surgery, gynecology, ENT, trauma, neurology, orthopedics, genitourinary, and robotic procedures
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Indiana state license must be in hand prior to start date
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Use Cerner charting system

This short-term acute care hospital operates a comprehensive surgical services department with 21 operating rooms and maintains a daily census of 70-80 patients. The facility specializes in Level I trauma care and offers advanced surgical capabilities including robotic surgery with Da Vinci Xi systems. The operating room handles a wide variety of procedures across multiple specialties and provides interdisciplinary support for complex patient care needs.
