Pediatric Hospitalist opening: New Bern Coastal North CarolinaAbout the Job

- 7 days on 7 days off with 24 hour/day call when working
- When working, must be within 30 minutes of hospital
- Primary responsibility is for Newborn Nursery with approximately 1000 deliveries annually.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and conditions that affect the general well-being of neonates and pediatric patients.
- Duties include stabilization of neonates requiring NICU level care until appropriate transfer can be made.
Minimum Requirements- Possession and maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA
- Must be a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital
- Education: Medical degree from an accredited School of Medicine, Residency from accredited Pediatric Program
- US BC/BE
