• Level IV Trauma Center
• 25-bed emergency department
• A busy and well-established ED with 37,500 annual visits
• 2 to 2.5 patients per hour
• 20% admission rate
• Strong team culture with 38 hours of physician coverage daily and 12 hours of APC coverage
• Located just 1-hour northeast of Dallas

Position Details

• Start date: flexible/immediate
• Shifts: 9- and 10-hour physician shifts with consistent daily coverage
• EMR: Cerner
• Scribes available
• Independent Contractor (1099) status
• Flat base rate + RVU; very lucrative compensation

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in EM preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of emergency medicine experience required for family medicine (FM) and internal medicine (IM) candidates
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working independently in a busy, community-based hospital setting
