Facility:
This facility is a well-established hospital providing comprehensive emergency services to the community. With 32 beds in the department, the facility offers quality emergency care in a supportive environment with 24-hour availability of key support services including anesthesia, cardio-thoracic surgery, and a catheterization lab.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
• Multiple emergency medicine shifts available at both Fortuna and Eureka locations
• Night shift coverage is a priority - only providers willing to work nights will be considered
• Average of 110 patients seen in a 24-hour period
• Guaranteed 8-hour shifts with pre-approval required for overtime beyond 12 hours
• Must be ABEM/ABEOM certified (ABIM/ABFM not accepted)
• Must be board certified or board eligible within 5 years
• Requires 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in specialty
• Shifts include a mix of day, afternoon, and overnight coverage
• Must maintain active California medical license
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• 90-120 day credentialing timeframe
• Full support services available including anesthesia, laboratory, radiology, and specialty surgery services
• Travel reimbursements include airport parking, rental car (pre-approved insurance), and local transportation between airport, lodging and hospital
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
