Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Georgia requiring at least one year of recent hospital experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work on a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
- Day shifts, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- Every other weekend required
- No call required
- Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- If one major holiday falls within the assignment, the traveler is required to work it; if two, both must be worked; if three, at least two must be worked
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
- No blocked scheduling permitted
- Maximum of 7 days requested time off (RTO), and no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time
- Travel pairs are not allowed to work the same shift on the same unit
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg experience
- Unit does not accept first time travelers
- Must provide two supervisory references (manager or above) for consideration
- Must not have been a perm or PRN employee at any Piedmont facility within the last year
- Return travelers must have successfully completed an assignment with another organization before rebooking
