Job DescriptionThis position is a travel role focused on providing care in a cardiac stepdown unit, managing patients recovering from various cardiac procedures and conditions.
Responsibilities- Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage patients post-cardiac procedures such as CABG, TAVR, and mitral valve repair.
- Administer and manage cardiac drips; interpret dysrhythmias and provide interventions as needed.
- Provide post-operative care for various cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
- Perform sheath removals and provide wound care as necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Experience with arterial lines, chest tubes, and management of cardiac dysrhythmias preferred.
