Position Details:
Patient Population: Cancer patients, with a focus on gynecologic oncology
Setting: Combination of clinic and hospital
Responsibilities:
Manage patients throughout their cancer care journey, providing advanced medical and surgical treatment
Prioritize quality of life and symptom management for patients
Work in a multidisciplinary team with APPs, nurse/financial navigators, social work, palliative care, and genetics
Participate in clinic and hospital-based care with 1 2 OR days per week
Share call responsibilities in a 1:3 rotation
Required Procedures: Gynecologic oncology surgeries
EMR System: N/A
Support Staff: APPs, nurse navigators, social workers, palliative care, and genetics teams
Days Per Month: Full-time, with 1 2 OR days per week
On-Call/Weekends: Call shared in a 1:3 rotation
Submission Requirements:
Fellowship-trained in Gynecologic Oncology - REQUIRED
Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be board certified within 2 years of eligibility) - REQUIRED
MI license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
DEA license - REQUIRED
ACLS and BLS certified - REQUIRED
