RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with 13-week assignment length
• Weekend rotating schedule with every other weekend requirement
• Overtime available when needed
• No call requirements
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: Active Texas RN License, BLS, ACLS
• Must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilated patients, and post-CABG care
• Preferred skills include Meditech experience and CVICU experience
• Work in very high acuity unit handling ECMO, heart transplant, CABG procedures
• May be floated to other ICUs based on volume and acuity, rarely to PCU
• Bedside shift report required with updates to patient white boards
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• No artificial nails, visible piercings other than ears, or visible tattoos
• Documentation system: Meditech
