American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist in Diagnostic Imaging with bone density and c-arm expertise for a rotational 10-hour shift assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a diagnostic radiology department performing general radiography and bone density studies
- Assist pain management physicians with fluoroscopic imaging for spinal and joint injections
- Set up and break down procedure kits and medications for pain management interventions
- Operate c-arm imaging equipment during pain procedures
- 10-hour rotating shifts
- Patient population includes adults requiring diagnostic imaging and pain management treatments
- Must be able to work closely with pain management team to facilitate imaging-guided procedures
- Participation in weekly orientation sessions scheduled every Monday, except holidays
- Must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months to be eligible
- No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster, and Flu vaccine required unless medically exempt
- Must be able to pass Telemetry/ECG and Medication testing if assigned to Milton or Plymouth campuses
- All requests for time off must be submitted with initial application
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience in radiologic technology required
- Vocational or technical training in medical radiography required
- MA RadTech-Radiography license required if applicable
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
- BLS certification required
- Bone density imaging experience required and must be noted in work history
- Experience with c-arm operation and pain injection procedures required
- Advanced technical computer skills related to clinical imaging systems
